Why compelling offers should dominate your home page

It is amazing to see the amount of retailer web sites who have a web site with their home page completely devoid of call to action banners. It is akin to putting a full page add in their local paper without any specials and expect consumers to rush to their store. 

People are shopping on line ! They respond to the same triggers they always have, being deals!

Therefore, clearly communicating a save story, or a value proposition on the products they want to sell on their home page remains fundamental to getting consumer traffic.

This does not mean that a life style image should not be on a web site. The call to action banners will get better results. At the end of the day, it is all about results.
